Covid-19 Service Update

From Monday 8th June,  our store re-opens 10.30am to 5pm Mon to Sat with Covid safety guidelines in place.

A private browsing appointment / gift finding service 'outside hours' can be arranged for any vulnerable customer or for anyone requiring more flexible opening times to help solve their gifting requirments. Pop in, call or email and we will quickly fix an appointment time. 

Click (before 2pm) and enjoy SAME DAY collection Mon to Sat.

Click (before 2pm) with a Portlaoise TOWN address and enjoy SAME DAY delivery Mon to Sat. 

Otherwise, all orders are dispatched promptly, (at least within 24hrs) of receipt. We  use an express tracked delivery service.

Curbside Pick up: Online or phone orders can be picked up via "Curbside Pick up" between the hours of 10.30am and 5pm Monday to Saturday.

Please phone 087-649-2946 and we will bring your order out to you.

There is ample parking in Market Square and we are happy to drop your order to your car there if you prefer to remain in the car.

Republic of Ireland: FREE 2 - 5 day tracked delivery for orders valued at €50+.

If you are ordering greeting cards however a lower delivery charge of €1.50 will apply and covers up to 5 greeting cards per order. These will be sent by regular post.

Northern Ireland & UK: Tracked 5 - 7 day delivery €10.

If you are ordering greeting cards only, then a lower delivery charge of €2.00 will apply, and covers up to 5 greeting cards per order. These will be sent by regular post.

These delivery rates apply when dispatching to one address only. Please do a separate order for an item which is to be sent to a second delivery address.

Please note that dispatch and delivery times may be slightly longer due to Covid delays however we are getting all deliveries out as quickly as possible and hope that any delays experienced will be minimal.

WHERE DO WE DELIVER TO?
We deliver to Ireland & United Kingdom. We can deliver outside of this by arrangement – delivery charges will depend on the weight and size of the item and destination.  Please contact us for outside of Ireland deliveries – we’d be happy get the very best shipping quote we can.

HOW LONG?
Orders are typically dispatched on the next working day with a standard delivery time of 2 – 5 working days. Working days are Monday – Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. 

We try our absolute best to ensure only items in stock are available to purchase online, however if, for whatever reason, we discover that an item is out of stock (yikes!) we will let you know immediately by email & give you a revised delivery date or the option of a refund. 

STANDARD IRISH DELIVERY CHARGE
All items are shipped with full tracking by An Post for a Standard delivery in Republic of Ireland of €5.95. You enjoy free tracked delivery on all orders over €50 throughout Republic of Ireland.

If you are ordering greeting cards however a lower delivery charge of €1.50 will apply and covers up to 5 greeting cards per order. These will be sent by regular post.

SHIPPING COST TO THE UK
UK delivery is charged at €10 per order. However, if you are ordering only greeting cards, then a lower delivery charge of €2.00 will apply, and covers up to 5 greeting cards per order. These will be sent by regular post.

WHEN DO I QUALIFY FOR FREE DELIVERY?
Enjoy free delivery on all orders over €50 throughout Republic of Ireland.

All delivery charge calculations, including the free delivery over €50 is based on the entire order being delivered to one address. If you wish to purchase gifts to be delivered to multiple addresses please place separate orders for each address.

In order for us to keep you updated about your order and delivery we need accurate, valid & active email and telephone contact information please.

POSTAL/DELIVERY ADDRESS
Please provide us with an accurate, current delivery address, including your EIRCODE and let us know of any special delivery instructions such as Apartment number or house name. If by mistake your address details are entered incorrectly and the shipment is returned to us, please be aware that we will unfortunately have to pass on the second shipping charge to resend your order (or we can of course hold it, for collection).

CLICK AND COLLECT SERVICE

While the store is closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic orders can be picked up via "Curbside Pick up" between the hours of 11am and 3pm Monday to Friday.

We offer a ‘click & collect’ option when completing your order allowing you to save on delivery charges and not have to wait on the delivery guy (friendly and all as he might be 🤭) by picking up your gorgeous goodies in store.

We remove all price labels before dispatch as many of our online purchases are gifts.

RETURNS POLICY
We've carefully handpicked and hunted all over for all our our gorgeous goodies at Nook and Cranny and that you are entirely happy with your goodies is of utmost importance to us. 

But please take a minute to read through a few small (& we hope you agree 'reasonable') details below regarding our returns policy.

Avoid paying a delivery fee if you cancel before midday on the day following the placement of your purchase. Simply contact us HERE to advise that you wish to cancel the order (quoting your order confirmation). A full refund will be processed by us within 24hrs in line with our refund policy and no shipping charges will be incurred by you. 

Otherwise, you have up to 7 days (from receipt of your order) to advise us HERE that you wish to return the goods and then 14 days* (from receipt of your order) to return the goods. Please make sure items are well packaged, as we cannot be held responsible for damage / breakages in returned items. 

Kindly retain your proof of postage from the post office for your returned item as unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit.

DAMAGED/FAULTY
Every single order is handpicked and safely packed and dispatched by our careful crew. But in the unlikely event that you receive an item from us which is damaged or in any way faulty, we want to know about this immediately.

Please inform us HERE within 3 days of delivery to arrange a replacement or full refund. While we will absolutely endeavour to resolve any issue as quickly as possible, we reserve the right to request that faulty items are returned to us prior to the issue of a replacement or refund.

Delivery charge and returned postage charges will only be refunded if the item is faulty.

REFUND PROCESSING POLICY
All refunds will be processed by us within 24 hours of agreeing a refund with you. We will issue the refund to the card used when placing the order. We will advise you once the refund has been processed, however, please allow 5-15 days for the refund to reach you after processing. This timeline is outside of our control and depends on the method of payment used. 

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
