The Pantry Cafe & Walled Garden is our award-winning sister café, just a cake's throw from Nook & Cranny on Main Street, Portlaoise. It's the perfect spot for a tasty bite and a tempting browse!

We love our coffee at The Pantry and proudly serve specialty-grade beans from 3fe, roasted fresh weekly, and made using the freshest milk from the local Village Dairy. Each coffee is meticulously weighed & prepared for consistent excellence.

Every morsel of food (including those irresistible cakes) is made in-house by our talented team of foodies. Try a slice of our coffee & walnut cake or energy balls - you won't be able to stop at just one! 

What truly makes The Pantry special is our dedicated team. Their excellent service and friendly demeanour create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every visitor feels like they've met a new friend. We love working with such a fantastic crew every day.

The use of quality ingredients is of huge importance to us and so we use local supply partners whenever possible. In fact, we were the first food outlet to receive the "Laois TASTE" Provenance Scheme certificate in February 2020, recognising our commitment to consistently supporting many of our local food producers (8 producers) here in Laois.

Behind the café, you can escape the hustle and bustle in our serene and expansive walled garden - your own little oasis on Main Street.
